In the heart of a peaceful pond in Botswana, a hippopotamus slowly emerges from the surface.

Is he waking up from a nap? Certainly, because it's the middle of the day.

With a huge yawn, he reveals the quiet power of the lord of the waters.

This gesture, both innocuous and spectacular, symbolizes the duality of this animal: peaceful and formidable, silent and yet undisputed master of its territory.

A suspended moment where nature, in its raw simplicity, reminds us that the most impressive force is often the one that does not seek to impose itself.
