✨ Description
A movement on a branch, then a scent. There, amidst the trees and vegetation, a female leopard. Her prey, killed a few days ago, lies on the ground, surrounded by hundreds of flies.
The smell is very strong, but as nature so aptly reminds us, one person's misfortune is another's gain. A symbol of an ancient balance, an immutable truth: here, life and death coexist, inseparable.
Suddenly, she climbs down from her tree with disconcerting agility, reaches the carcass, and begins to eat a few bites. Her gaze, both intense and impassive, betrays neither cruelty nor triumph. It simply embodies the order of the savage—one where each being occupies its place, where survival is the only rule.
Soon, the meat will be too spoiled for his palate, and others will come to finish it off. For in the bush, death brings life, and the only law that reigns is that of life itself.
I offer this photograph in a 50x75 cm print, a Plexiglas print on Dibond aluminum backing. This format enhances the artwork by adding brilliance and contrast , creating a sense of great depth.
This work is produced in a limited edition of 30 copies, across all formats and media, numbered and signed.
